WORK EXPERIENCE: Joined the Foreign Service in 1973. Served in Pakistan's Missions at France Switzerland Egypt, UAE before becoming Pakistan's High Commission to South Africa and Ambassador to Kuwait, Iran and the ECO, European Union and Luxembourg at Brussels. His last posting was as Ambassador to France and Permanent Representative to UNESCO from 2009 to 2013. Also served as Director, Director General and Additional Foreign Secretary at Ministry of Foreign Affairs respectively. He speaks French and Arabic. |
